I am Riverside Unified's newest 5th grade teacher.

I now have less than a week to set up a classroom and be prepared for 30 sets of eyes looking to me for knowledge. Deep breath, say a prayer, and jump in...wish me luck. :-)

Hello all.
Much has changed since I've blogged last...
1. I've returned safe and sound from Africa. Hard trip. God is good.
2. I've moved into my first non-calbaptist, not my parent's house, post-college apartment. It's beautiful. And I have fun roommates.
3. I started dating my first boyfriend...and recieved my first kiss. ;-)
4. I've had 3 interviews at 3 different schools with 3 different principals...and no job offers yet. I've got a sparkling resume with everything but experience. I'm realizing a job worth having for the rest of your life is pretty hard to get...harder than your everyday retail job I suppose.
Adjusting to adult life is difficult...but exciting...all at the same time.
I don't have a computer currently (I will have a new mac in 2 weeks!)...but I'm thinking I'm kinda over this blog thing. I still like to read others...just don't like to do my own. What do you think? Should I keep this thing?
