Just call me the bragging auntie!
1. Amazing...it's just not fair to other babies. :-)
2. Grandpa, "pappy", Mommy and baby Hope. I love this picture.
3. Wow...this is one of my favorite pictures...auntie caught her on camera smiling in her sleep! Look at those cheeks!
4. The happy family one of the first few days at home...I love my sister.
Pictures?
I'm just trying to figure out this whole picture thing. But, isn't my niece just beautiful? Ya, I know.
I need...
...someone to come over to my apartment (which I moved into today and already broke the bar in the closet) and teach me how to put pictures on my blogs and how to link other people. Right now I am a blogging idiot...someone help. please.
I am waiting for my roommate to get home (curfew is 12...she is 6 minutes late!) :-) So, I am blogging while I wait.
My straightener is broken, so for awhile you'll all have to deal with crazy/curly haired Robin...because straighteners are expensive, and I'm broke yo.
I've found that most girls like the straight hair and most boys like the curly hair...which do you prefer?
I'm sleepy.
Tomorrow I pick up Sam from the airport...I haven't seen him all summer, so I'm excited. Yay for all FOCUS leaders reuniting tomorrow night!
Tonight I went to the beach for a bonfire. I adore the beach, but I'm not that much of a bonfire fan. It's smelly, cold and your feet get really dirty. But, good friends were there in plenty, and we stopped for Starbucks on the way home, so all in all, not a bad night.
In case you were wondering, my niece is still the most beautiful baby ever born.
Kins come home! She's supposed to dye my hair tonight...we'll see.
Sorry this post is really random. I'll try to do better in the future (and add pictures and linklove if someone ever shows me how!)
Ummm...goodnight?
She's Beautiful...
Last Thursday, August 3 2006, Hope Elisabeth Rogers came into the world.
And she is beautiful.
No, seriously gorgeous...and I'm not just saying that because she's my niece.
Details: Born at 1:30p.m., weighing 7lbs and 18 inches long...which means she's short and little...well welcome to the family sweetheart. :-)
Steph and Mark are amazing parents thus far...I knew they would be. She is too adorable for words...so little that all newborn clothes just fall off her, and when she sleeps (which is all day long), she makes the cutest little squeaks I've ever heard. Oh, and her cry...my word...I didn't think that cries her supposed to be so cute. Hers is.
I didn't know I could love something so much.
It's weird though, to have my parents be grandparents, and my sister be a mom. When did I get old enough for this?
I get until Friday morning left with her...so I'm gonna go enjoy it. See you in 5 days...
Hope Elizabeth Rogers
My sister, my hero, is in labor right now...my niece, Hope Elizabeth Rogers, is on her way.
Tomorrow my parents and I leave for Louisville, Ky...this time tomorrow night, I plan on holding her.
I can't wait...I haven't even met her yet and I already know she is the most gorgeous baby on earth.
Hopefully I'll update from Kentucky (sidenote: I really love Louisville and I'm also excited for the chance to get out of Riverside for awhile...breathe fresh air, you know, stuff like that).
I need to finish packing...we leave in 10 hours.
Prayers are appreciated.
God bless...
